by nate_lockhart I can answer the second one at least. If you get to 20, you must survive to the end of your turn. This is at least in the latest copy of the rules if not the earlier ones.

by SPBTooL I say the damage would keep going. It is not an infinite loop as the die roll prevents that from happening. I don't remember anything in the rules that says a cards ability can only be used...
