by Ender02 It only counts at the end, after all of your rerolls and ability effects have been used, whatever is left is your "roll" and then is uesd to check and see if it triggers any game effects.

by kelann08 Nothing is final until you've rolled three times or declared you're done rolling before three rolls. Once there, you can resolve card effects.
