OK, so not counting effects from cards, is it reasonable to assume that from odds you have about the same chance to roll hearts as claws? There's one on each die.

I bring this up because the last few games of KoT I've played Have gone on for hours. It's mostly the same thing - people swing into Tokyo, spend a turn or two, then swing out, heal up, etc. Yeah bad luck and rolls can get someone killed and yeah cards can sometimes swing this, but I've observed this situation quite a few times. Player A down to 5 hp and gets out of Tokyo, then on next turn heals back to 9-10.

Anyway I wonder if maybe there shouldn't be some kind of way to make the game accelerate so that the game ends and doesn't drag out. Maybe something like it takes more hearts to heal (2 per pt of health) or maybe every turn every player gets a new die that's identical to the current die, but has a claw over the heart (so turn 2 you get a new die with no heart on it but two claws) to accelerate the damage done.

I dunno - I like the game a lot, but I've spent two games no being eliminated in the 2nd turn and then sitting around for an hour. I know the game is random, but I've pretty much stopped playing games where I can get removed from the game and then have to wait an hour. So I'm trying to figure out why the games are so frikking long!
