Can you please explain what you are considering a "VP leader"? And how its happening?

The game is only to 20 points, the monsters only have 10 life.

If a player rolls extremely luckily and gets 7 points on their first two turns by rolling four 3s and then three 3s. Shouldn't one of the other players have at least 3 points with 2 more coming before he rolls the dice next turn? And shouldnt't he have dealt out some damage to the others? And shouldn't the third player also have some points or have stored up a lot of energy by now?

How does your points leader keep assuring his 3 of a kind?

I just don't see how you can consistently have a "runaway" leader in a game that depends on dice to score points.
