Thanks! Just the kind of feedback I was looking for.I'm a bit wary about a drink for each point of damage inflicted. It does make card effects naturally scale with the drinking aspect... I think that would work great if you just plan on playing a match or two, but for a whole drinking event I think that could get out of hand. ;)
I feel the same way about some of the other suggestions you had, like just having players drink every turn for not being in Tokyo, most likely players will be getting attacked on every one else's turn already.
But how about:
For every roll over 3 of a kind, every other player must drink.
If a player rolls 6 of a kind, this institutes a waterfall lead by the monster who rolled. (though I've never seen 6 of a kind before, so maybe this is a wash)
And here's an idea using your two idea's:
Players must drink for every point of damage dealt from a monster occupying Tokyo.
That kind of fulfills the idea of characters outside of Tokyo having to drink more, and it puts the power in the hands of the person in Tokyo.
The "make a rule while in Tokyo" thing is a really neat idea, since they're basically the king in the middle, and it wouldn't last long. I wonder if that would slow things down too much while people tried to think of things though. Maybe if I had a suggestion list printed on the table.
