I certainly disagree with the point that the components are poor quality and though the components may be simple they are well done.

Disagree away. However the fact still stands that I have witnessed first-hand components suffering damage through nothing more than standard use within weeks of purchase.. Which hardly strikes me as a hallmark of quality.

I've played this game 30+ times if not more with about 20 different people of varying exposure to board games and my copy still looks like new. You and I have very different definitions of "standard use" if you have components suffering damage.

Saying that you enjoy the game but are unwilling to pay for it thus will make your own... yes alot of us will find that disrespectful.

Yes, a lot of people have been bounding that idea around. Although if you (or they) actually read the OP and UNDERSTOOD it, you would see that I was not initially endeavoring to make my own (why would I? Our gaming group owns a copy, and I only play it at group). My point was that there is nothing in the box you don't already own or, couldn't easily produce.. Not that you should make your own. I even put that in bold.

So before anyone else posts any more knee-jerk comments on the matter, READ THE OP, and understand that the point of the OP is NOT to advocate piracy but, to draw attention to where I feel this game is lacking (value for money). Which IS an opinion, and yours may differ.

To be honest, I'm kinda getting tired of stating this continually and, everytime I do it seems like I'm talking to a brick wall rather than a human being. So please read the OP and don't give me cause to state this.. Again!

I read the OP (and every other post you've made in this thread) and your intent is moot. Whether you're selling or not doesn't matter. You're still endorsing the idea that, if you don't like what you get for the money, its okay to make your own. You may not have painted giant sign and put it out for everyone to see but the implication is there. Even without the implication, I think its a crappy thing to do.

Why do you assume that, just because someone disagrees with you, that they are incapable of understanding your point? Its like saying "If you don't agree with me, you're just dumb to get it." I understand you fine - I still think you're wrong. You could very easily have made a post that discussed the content of the game and how much it costs but, instead, you posted about how you made your own copy of the game BECAUSE you felt like it was overpriced for the contents. That's a very different discussion.
