The cost of buying Energize needs to be high enough that it's not an obvious buy. If you lower the cost, you're putting it into a range where there's a good chance a player will already have that amount when the card is revealed. Then it becomes a far too obvious choice to purchase it. If you make it cost 6 with a return of 7 energy and you happen to have 6 energy already, then there's no reason to not buy it.

Yup. I thought the same thing, but I was thinking of maybe reducing it to 7 and it gives you 8 back, or keeping at 8 but having it give you 10 back.

Edit: I do agree with Monster Batteries though, I haven't been able to find a strategy that makes that card worthwhile.
Do you think that if I reduced it to cost 1, would that help, or should I just not include it in the deck?
