I played this 2 times with friends and bought the game. tonight we played it as a family. my wife pulled this card early in the game and not knowing about it or exactly what she was doing, she locked the game down with it. I cant believe this card got through any play testing as its written. in fact it could have been split into 3 separate cards and each would have been powerful.1. if it was discard after use, that would have been pretty powerful.
2. if it was "pay the cost of the card to remove an opponents card currently in play" that would have been pretty powerful.
3. if it was " copy any card currently in play" that would have been pretty powerful.
instead this 1 card does all of these things and stays in play. so yes, it seems to me its way over the top. that may be different with experienced players who know how to beat it.
but then again, I have only played it 4 times.
