I own and enjoy both. In spite of them both having a dice rolling mechanic, they are extremely different games. Dicetown plays quite a but longer and involves a deeper level of strategy (especially with the extension). And the method of dice rolling is quite a bit different than Yahtzee, as you only keep one dice at a time (with the ability to pay to keep more). The simultaneous dice rolling makes it more about anticipating what your opponents are trying to roll as opposed to simply rolling what you need most.
If I had to choose, I suppose I would choose KofT, but I love Dicetown as well. They fit different niches into opinion.
