I probably should have left Tokyo on the first attack, but did not know that (a new player mistake), but it only cost me one life.
Then this
By the time it was my second turn my life was down by half.
Why?
Because there's a big gap between "it only cost me one life" and "my life was down by half". But maybe "it" refers to "the first attack" whereas I was assuming it meant "the decision to not leave Tokyo".
OK, This game was a few days ao now but this is my recall of the first round scoring as it affected me.
I went into Toyko and was attacked and did not leave on the third players round - so I took 1 damage.
The next player rolled three claws so I left Toyko and was down by four.
So I was not quite half down, but close. Then I got a claw in my last re-roll (going for hearts) so back to Toyko I went! :wow:
I am not THAT serious. I tend to loose a lot of games! :p I do not worry about it. But I do like playing games to the end even if I am not doing that well, as I think it does help me better understand the game... It is funny because I do kind of think Can't Stop is fun, but I was not as excited about this game.
I rated the game as a "6" becuase as I said: I did not enjoy this game. If someone in a group wants to play it I will not say no, because the game is pretty quick, but I did not enjoy playing it.
That being said, I think the game is easy to teach & quick; both of which will appeal to newer players. Lots of people probably are used to games where they get kicked out, so this may not bother them like it does me. For very new players rolling dice is a more comfortable mechanic then say, worker placement, and that is good.
I did not mean to "attack" the game. It is just not one I really like...
