So my wife is really awesome. She happened to be out and about between work meetings when she drove by a game store. She decided to stop by and purchase a random game for me :)

This is a game we had both played before and we both really enjoy it. She also decided that this game should be the next to play in our league. So which monsters bashed the other ones?

Brief Game Overview
In this game players play as a monster and seek to be the king of Tokyo by scoring enough points or by being the last one standing. On a player's turn they roll six dice and they may have up to two re-rolls. Hearts cause a player to heal damage, claws deal damage, energy gives energy cubes, and the other three can give points. The die faces are numbered 1-3. A set of three of a kind will score points equal to that number. When a player gets into Tokyo the get a point, then if they stay in Tokyo until their turn they get two points. A monster in Tokyo deals damage to all monsters outside of Tokyo, but monsters outside of Tokyo only deal damage to the on in the city. Energy can be used to buy upgrade cards that give all kind of good stuff. The first person to reach 20 points or the last one standing wins.

Game #1
I played as Mecha-Dragon and my wife played as Cyber Bunny. I went first and got in to Tokyo. I also rolled really well, and got several points from the dice. I eventually got too damaged to safely stay in the city, so I backed out. At this point I had a large point lead so I bought the herbivore power-up and ignored damaging my wife. It only took a couple of turns before I got to 20 points.

Game #2
Not that it matters but I switched to the King and my wife switched to the Alienoid. My wife went first and went into Tokyo. My wife tried to roll for points while in Tokyo, but the dice did not go very well. I focused on rolling damage, and she eventually had to leave Tokyo. I continued to roll damage against her while in Tokyo. She got to 17 points but she only had 1 heart. I managed to get one more damage on my turn and I won the game.

Standings
King of Tokyo: Sean wins 2-0
Season Record: Sean 7 Abigail 6
Usually my wife tends to roll better than me, but this time the dice were in my favor. She will pick the next game and try to tie it back up.
