Obviously there are many other people who absolutely love this game. They love the cute cartoony monster art, the nice chunky dice, the glossy thick cardboard, the chest-thumping trash talk when you kick someone out of Tokyo.
I guess I'm one of those people... Apart from the one little thing above, I'm not going to say you're wrong. Yes, it IS Yahtzee with monsters. Yes, the cards are unbalanced and crazy.
I don't know what happened in your games that made them take over an hour... I've never had games run longer than 45 minutes (even with 6 players), but if it does happen, I can imagine it made for a really bad experience. This is meant to be a fun 30-minute romp. And even then, it's not for everybody. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
