No way. The standees are awesome and in part make the KO series what it is for me. The funky, over the top silly cartoonish vibe with the standees is a part of its appeal and goes with the the heme of not taking itself too seriously on numerous levels
This! To be honest, I'm not a big fan of that game. My first play was OK, the second play was pretty boring, since it was won by a person, who was playing "Giga-Yahtzee", collecting only points out of Tokyo with sets of numbers, and it now seems to me, that's the way to play the game. (If you want to win it, not to have fun.) But what's absolutely the fun bit of the game, is the amazing cartoonish artwork (on the standees, as well as on the cards). Plastic minis would look dull and boring in comparison.
