Out of the Promo monsters, I've seen certain rarity's of these already rare monsters....One has to realize, for every 1,000 copies of this game sold, I'd be surprised if more than a hundred out of those thousand ever do anything beyond play what they get out of the box... maybe a hundred read up on it on the internet and find out there IS anything more than what's in the box... Out of that hundred, even fewer actually DO anything about it, maybe 40 out of 100? (ordering uncommon things, like promo monsters, custom tokens, box organizers, etc). Out of those, fewer still ever go to things like gaming conventions to obtain things like promos directly, most are far from their homes (out of state, or even out of country)... I'd be surprised if 5 or 10 out of that hundred (out of that thousand) ever attend such conventions.
Breaking these down by common, rare and "good luck"... I judge these by ease/cost of getting your hands on via methods like E-Bay, how often you see the postings and how much you can expect to pay.
"Common Promos" include Kookie, Brokenbear, Draccus... they don't seem hard to find or get your hands on... E-Bay often lists these daily in the $20-$50 range.
"Rare Promos" include Alpha Zombie and Iron Rook... I've found them on E-Bay from time to time, but never for less than $100 and often way more.
"Good Luck Promos"... yeah... Rozy Pony and all-else? Ya, I've never even seen one entry for Rozy Pony on E-Bay in forever, and I imagine it would sell for some crazy ungodly price.
P.S. while I'm aware of the Space Penguin promo, I'm not categorizing something you can now get (albeit slightly altered) in 2nd Ed KoT.
Back to your original question/post... in the famous words of (a somewhat changed) Princess Bride line... "I see you keep saying enthusiasm, but I don't think its as big as you think it is".
Having said that, I like customizing this game... I've customized quite a bit myself, and spent a pretty penny doing so... I'd LOVE to see custom evolutions for the promos, as I have some myself (the common ones at least, I'm not paying $100+ bucks for one token promo that doesn't even have evolution cards).
But reality is reality... Short of one crazy guy just taking on the project himself, I don't know that there is a huge widespread user base to make evolution cards for the promos... I could be wrong, but that's my opinion.
This is my setup below:
