For anyone confused, or locked-onto the "Cyberbunny's art is the reason for the change"... realize that copyright infringement is more than just looking like something else... the name itself can be copyrighted.

The Killer Bunnies game has a character named "Cyber Bunny"... they copyrighted that name... while the Killer Bunnies Cyber Bunny looks NOTHING like the KoT Cyber Bunny, the name alone will infringe on the copyright.

Imagine if I made a popular game that sold millions of copies, and one of the characters in my game was named "Mickey Mouse"... even though the artwork looked NOTHING like Disney's Mickey Mouse... don't hesitate for once second thinking I wouldn't be sued by Disney for copyright infringement.

Hopefully that explains the Cyber Bunny conspiracy theorists (you can still continue to argue that jet fuel doesn't melt steel beams if you want).

On the art update, that's pretty simple... they are planning on making a Smart Phone app for KoT, and the old artwork just doesn't port over well to a 3D phone app, so they needed to get the artwork updated either way.

That should solve the Cyber Bunny and art change issues... I have no real answer for the Kraken to Space Penguin mix-up... you guys can go nuts with conspiracies on that one... if it were me, and I had to get rid of the Kraken for some alien, I'd rather have gone with "Space Turtle" than "Space Penguin"... but that's just me.
