Can't help you.I've even poked around non-BBG sites (the horror), and still don't have anything official or even a consensus.
Best I've found is that Mimic still costs 8, regardless of what it's copying.
Still don't know if a "Costume" can even be copied.
Does the 2nd edition card text tweak anything?
