First off, this is an outdated thread, information has since changed.
Current contents of KoT Power Up are Pandakai, and 9 stacks of Evolutions > 1 stack for Pandakai, 6 stacks for your base game monsters (either edition), +2 stacks for the 'other edition' monsters. In other words, it is mostly a straight up reprint, and will work for either version.
Also, only the Purchase Card backs from the base game have changed. Judging by recent pictures on the Iello Facebook account, the Evolution card backs have NOT changed (not significantly anyway, and that's assuming the products shown aren't prototypes/mock-ups).
