Games I Played in January

So, January's been a busy gaming month! I don't think I've ever played this many games in such a short period. It's probably due to the challenges I'm doing. Last year I did the 10x10, but I found that it made the gameplay feel forced. By the end of the year it wasn't fun anymore. This year's challenges are much more flexible so it feels really good to get so many plays in. And I'm finding out which games I actually don't like very much. So I'll be selling off quite a few at the Breakout in March.

I love this game so much! It was a gift from "Santa".
I got some of the rules wrong in my first play,
but I'm slowly getting better.

My son, the moment he realised I beat him in Onitama.

I bought this game for the artwork. Really happy I did,
because the gameplay is really interesting too.

I love this game. It's a great entry-game for non-gamers - easy rules,
lovely artwork, & fun gameplay. My son enjoyed it so much that
now he's warming up to possibly playing a heavier adventure game.

My son (left) and my nephew (right) didn't want to play Yeti.
They thought it looked childish. By the end they loved it.
I think I need a t-shirt that says "I TOLD YOU SO" in big font.
