This is only a guess/opinion but I'm going to say it's 1 for 1 (only one extra roll per turn) only because if you could just pump it up that would be overpowered players could end up with 10+ extra rolls and that could result in 10+ smashes which could take a player out that is full health in one turn

No... rerolling extra times doesn't give you more effects. Whatever you are left with at the end of the rerolls is what you score. The most claws you can get are 6, unless you have an extra head or something.
