You are right, they can do whatever they want, but maybe they can at least stop saying they are trying to do what is best for us when they are clearly are not. They have screwed up compatibility between versions of this game in a way that is taking at least a year and extra purchases to "fix" for seemingly no reason other than "that's what they decided to do." Originally they stated there was no other way, but now it seems that just wasn't true.
