One of my fellow board gamers introduced this game to me along with a variant which we used off the bat. The variant is easily implemented, improves the speed at which people may acquire those marvelous action cards, and it was, for lack of better words, genius.
The variant goes like such:
-Everyone begins the match with ONE energy cube.
Now I know what you guys are already thinking "who is this clown offering up such a futile variant?!" Well I say onto you fine sirs and mams, "don't knock it til you try it!"
The variant is dubbed "The Hunter" simply because one feels that sort of predatory nature stirring inside of them when presented with such lush resource BEFORE any moves are yet made.
I'm anxious to hear all about others use of "The Hunter" variant.
