I'm actually very grateful that the KoT promo is only the monster standee, stand and playcard (much like their other monster promos.)Kickstarter rewards don't necessarily have to be this uber exclusive thing that ends up on eBay *coughZombicidecough*.
The way I see it, it's a nice little reward to Kickstarter supports BUT doesn't break the game or doesn't give game enhancing rewards (like the regular KoT promo cards.)
I actually wrote IELLO a few months back how they should include these type of promos with pre-orders or orders from them directly like how Flying Frog Productions handles it.
If they released cards that had a real gameplay function like the regular promo cards, I'd imagine there would be an uproar.
Promo monsters are a fun thing but don't even have evolution cards, so no one feels like they're really losing out if they don't support the Kickstarter or get some exclusive magazine.
