Thread: King of Tokyo:: Rules:: All attacks done all at once or can they be split (1 to Tokyo, take Tokyo, 3 to the other players)

We just played our first game of King of Tokyo and found out most of the answers to our questions... except at the very end. My team (Dad + younger son) had 5 life left, 18 Victory Points and was out of Tokyo. My two other sons decided to try and kill us before our turn (I also had Nuclear Power plant... +2 VPs). One son was in Tokyo and took 2 of my life (to 3 remaining). Then the other son rolled 4 paws. He wanted to use 1 paw first to attack his brother in Tokyo and then once there, use the remaining 3 paws to eliminate me. We weren't sure whether this was legal since we couldn't find anywhere in the rules that said the attack had to happen in one burst. It looked like they can split their attack--once to gain Tokyo and then once there unload the remaining paws. We would love to know what the official interpretation is here.

We're hoping you might help. In total irony--because of the attack we were either eliminated and lost OR if the attack is possible we would win as soon as our turn started and we played Nuclear Power Plant. So we left the game as either winner or loser and let the others play for #2 and #3 (or #1 and #2). wow

Looking forward to a response!
