Also a side note the rules say:The Monster who gains 20 points or is the last one standing wins the game.
It is possible for a player to get 20 points and be eliminated on the same turn due to cards. You must survive the turn, to claim Victory.
It doesn't actually say you have to have 20 points at the end of the turn. Simply that you win if you get to 20 points, but to claim the victory you have to survive until the end of your turn (i.e. you could lose the points over the course of the turn and still win since you did gain 20 points and survive). I feel less solid about this argument, but I figured I would throw it out there anyway since it is something to consider.
