As we were playing along, suddenly one of the players acquired 3 victory points, announced (to everyone else's surprise) that he had reached 20, and the game was over.Admittedly we're all new to the game, so this was probably just a rookie mistake for us (not keeping track of everyone's score). But the style of the Monster Boards (lying in front of each player) makes it difficult for everyone to glance around and see what everyone else's scores is. Are there generally-accepted rules for handling this? e.g.
1) Each person announces to the group your victory points & health scores at the end of each turn?
2) Announce everyone's scores at the end of a round?
3) Announce when you have arrived at certain checkpoints (e.g. 10 victory points or 5 health)
4) Something else?
