This is pretty easy to overcome by just focusing on healing and VP rolling instead. Once everybody is on full wounds then healing ray becomes useless. Also, if you have no energy then they can't take any for healing you. You could also spend your energy in your own turn. Or concentrate attacks on the monster with Healing Ray, in which case they need to use hearts to heal their own wounds rather than others. Which they can only do in their turn anyway. I really don't see Healing Ray as being overpowered at all. If the game causes arguments all the time, I would suggest you are playing with the wrong people. I play with different groups of people and if any rules disputes come up that we're not sure of, we just rule it the way that's most fun.↧
