We are playing with 3 friends King of Tokyo for the first time.
A friend played the Psychic Probe specifying which die I had to reroll (a die that would've made me win the game) and I disagree in that he gets to choose what die I must reroll.
The card does say "You can reroll a die..." but it doesn't state clearly that either the card bearer or the one rolling the dice get to choose what die to reroll.
What I think is, as the die choosing is not clearly stated, "a die" means any die, so if the player rolling his dice chooses the die himself, this does satisfy the rule of "reroll a die".
The card costs only 3 energy cubes, so I think it's far too cheap to be so powerful as to grant the bearer the power to choose the die.
What do you think?
The game's rulebook doesn't say anything else about this card.

You can re-roll any die from any other player, you can't re-roll your own dice. You choose which die you want to re-roll.
