Bang The Dice Game
I purchased a copy of Bang The Dice Game last week so was pretty eager to give that a go. Me, Nathan, Chris and Will played two four player games and found it pretty good. We were then joined by Graham, Mara, Sam and Holly for an eight player game and that's when this really started to shine. This isn't the deepest game you're ever going to play but for a 20 minute dice game there's some real depth and some interesting choices to be made. Our second eight player game in particular came to an interesting stand off as the Sheriff, one Outlaw and two Renegades were left all unsure of what order to kill each other off to ensure victory. SO MUCH FUN! I really like this and will be playing the crap out of it. The mixture of hidden roles and teams, unique characters and powers, and unique win conditions makes for lots of fun.

Dominion: Seaside
At this point I'm rather keen to try some of the harder maps for Flash Point: Fire Rescue but the rest of the group really want to play Dominion so we split into two groups of four. I play with Graham, Nathan and Chris in an all Seaside game. The other three players all think I'm stupid for using Ambassador straight away to get rid of two Estates and gives them each victory points, I had the last laugh however when they realised far too late how strong Ambassador can be. I won on 26 points when three piles emptied, Graham was second with 21, Nathan 11 and Chris 9.

King Of Tokyo
Graham wants to play King Of Tokyo and introduce Mara to the game, this is made especially easy due to the similar mechanics between King Of Tokyo and Bang The Dice Game. This turns out to be the best game of KoT I've played yet. I'm still to win a game but it was worth losing to see Chris win be eliminating two other players and receive 20 victory points all in one turn. Well played good sir.

I bought Graham's copy of Mansions Of Madness off him for a bargain price so plan to stay up all night now reading the rulebook in preparation for a session with Nathan and Chris on Thursday.

This was probably the quietest turn out we've had to board game night but was probably one of my favourite sessions so far.
