KoNY is definitely a Richard Garfield game. It was his idea to design another game somewhat similar to KoT, but with a little more depth in it (and we were right to trust him with this idea, as the game turned out to be at least as awesome as the first one! - I know this last assertion will be discussed in due time, so just mark my word for now... ;) ).
