I honestly think I'm yet to see a game of this where the sweep wasn't used, whether that was to find better cards to to prevent somebody getting something powerful.

I'm not a big fan of this variant as it sounds to me like you'll quickly end up with every monster having a ton of cards attached to them purely because anything costing just one energy is probably pretty damn good.
