You know I believe that it's good that there are some overpriced cards. It's great that sometimes there is a lock on the table and the most "advanced" player can take advantage by taking Tokyo while the others players have to decide wether they are going to spend their energy to "blow up" the middle.

I used to think that the card that gives massive bonuses to rolling (1) (2) (3) (heart) (claw) (energy) were silly and not worth wasting turns trying to roll. I bought one of them one game because I had a way to alter the rolls. Quickly this card became an unstoppable beat down.

My opinion is to always keep things how they are in the regular game. Game designers tend not to get things wrong (especially when they are Dr. Garfield)
