The rules state that a Monster is considered attacking when it has at least one Claw, otherwise it is not attacking. This means that a card which increases the damage of an attack will not bring damage from zero to one if you don't have a Claw' (original emphasis). As Fire Breath only deals damage when you attack I would say it was an additional damage which is all resolved at the same time so Jets would mean that you do avoid damage.

Except that Fire Breathing says "...when you deal damage" not "...when you attack" - so you don't have to be attacking for Fire Breathing to deal extra damage.

But that's a side issue, the crux of the matter is this:

The confusion for me though is that because Fire Breathing says it is not an attack do you resolve the attack then Fire Breathing in which case the player would take damage after using Jets or is all damage resolved at the same time?

This is essentially what the OP is asking.

All we seem to have actually achieved, so far, in this thread is asking the same question multiple times using a different wording.

I suppose you could deal damage from other sources but most are linked to you rolling claws which makes me think that all damage would be resolved together. I guess it's interaction with other cards that cause damage without rolling claws could be interesting (and potentially far more confusing!)
