I love it and everyone else that I've played it with is a fan. Don't play it more than once or twice per session, though!

With the group of people that I play games with, we're all over the age of 21, and we love playing King of Tokyo in between other games. It's a great filler game when everyone needs a break from the heavy dungeon-crawling games or massive long deck building games that we play. Even if you're not into the whole making monster noises, it brings back that nostalgic feeling of watching monster movies take over a city from when you were little.

Anyways, it's still a great game that can be fun for all ages. He might not have liked it because it seems childish, but I had another friend who thought the same thing until he played it. He had to admit that it was fun. I guess it all just boils down to the company that you have playing.
