I'm guessing you weren't around when Agricola was picked up by ZMAN. A lot of us paid up front to make it happen and as a thank you we received animeeples rather than cubes. The outrage at BGG was pathetic and it went on for WEEKS. People whining and crying and bitching that they were NEVER going to buy a game from ZMAN unless they GOT THEIR DAMN ANIMEEPLES! So ZMAN caved and everyone got them. I didn't think it was a big deal but I DID think the way people behaved was hilarious.
