I missed that you only scored 1 for a triple 1 and 2 for a triple 2. Based on merely reading the rules, it could be read that you get three points for a three of a kind. It didn't specifically say it was the value shown on the die that tells you how many points to gain. Later I saw this mentioned in a review and then looking at the rulebook, the example scores a set of 2s this way. Guess that means straight rolling for points won't be as effective for some members of my family :D.A variant I think could work to solve the lack of card buys would be to implement bonus energy for rolling sets of 4,5, or 6 energy. Say you get 5 energy for rolling 4 bolts, 6 for rolling 5, and 8 for rolling 6 bolts. (Having a bonus for 3 would be too good I think)
