I just finally got together with 3 other people, all as non-gamer as it gets. It took a while to talk them into trying out a game night, but they did, and we chose King of Tokyo to play. All 3 LOVED it and we ended up playing it for almost 7 straight hours. They said they had to buy it and want me to order it on my next big order. They are already waiting for the next game night.
It is really a very fun game. Although some have stated issues with quality, my copy had no issues. I thought the game looked great, with nice, quality components (except a tiny game board that has a tendency to warp). The game is fast paced, has small down time between turns, and has alot of replay value. It's not very heavy, yet has enough depth to stay interesting. There is randomness with the dice, but you still have many choices and routes to victory. I highly recommend it. For the value, you won't be disappointed.
