Like others said, I think you could have avoided some of the damage. But, I am not a fan of the game either. I cannot imagine what it is about this game that would make someone want to be an "experienced" King of Tokyo player. The player elimination is necessary for this kind of game, but it is a bummer. Even with the Power Up expansion, I really do not see anything about this game that would make me want to play again after I have played it 5 or 6 times and I am not talking 5 or 6 times at once...I mean 5 or 6 TOTAL plays). There are many quick filler type games I would rather play. I would take Can't Stop over King of Tokyo any day.

Hahaha David it IS fun, but fun is subjective after all! I find the heart of the game to be the cards, and I am particularly interested to try out my copy of the King of Tokyo: Power Up! expansion since the cards here seem to be quite powerful.
