This has seriously dimmed my interest in Garfield's Ghooost! I am afraid there might be more promos that would not be offered in a reasonable manner (Origins, GenCon, mail...).

Sounds like you shouldn't buy it. You don't want to risk another rage-filled episode.

Now, come on. He was obviously in the right. Look at all the people who spoke up on his behalf. Oh. No one did? Well, some people don't want to type out a response. Look at all of the thumbs his responses received. Oh. None? Forget it.

Perhaps if there are times when you are the only one among many supporting a view, it might make you think you are wrong. Not so with me. If someone can explain to me why, when the promos were in print when I bought the two games, that I was never informed of an opportunity to purchase the promos, and then why that should be OK with me, then I will quit being bummed about it.

But I am still not sure I understand why the people in this thread who don't have the promos are so OK with not having them. It seems to me that if you love the game and have any completest tendencies, you would be upset with the idea that these promos may never again be made available. There has been a huge outcry toward AEG, for one example, about promos for Thunderstone and Nightfall disappearing quickly with no plans for reprint. Don't know why I am the only one with an outcry about King of Tokyo. Perhaps there is a difference in devotion to the game or maybe it's because there is a difference in the depth of the game. Not sure.
