Thanks for all comments.I agree that "go to Tokyo and do the same: die for numbers." may counter my friend's dirty trick but it may lead to everyone will do the same "die for numbers" so no one will collect the energy cubes for buying cards since those cards seem not as efficient as dice for getting 20 VP to win. So I would like to have a variant that will avoid this trick and attract us to buy more cards in order to win the game. Anyway, I will do some tests on those variants in this forum before our next KOT game, hehe.
