Picked this game up a few days ago based on the great reviews but I was surprised to open the box and see ALL. The cardboard components had damage :(

All the player boards had chips on their edges and most had misaligned dials.

The window for the dials were not punched with a square but rather two bracket [] shapes. A few cards have them misaligned and The King suffered a large tear under his damage window as it got caught on something during cutting.

The monsters all have splitting cardboard and tattered edges where the cutter didn't go all the way through the card board.

There was an audible grumble in my play group as I unwrapped it and pulled out components. Based on the quality of those pieces they weren't expecting a good game... Luckily, they were wrong. Everyone loved it but none were interested in purchasing a copy for their families based on the damage they saw. Such a shame
