Hey Mat! Looks like we both got KoT around the same time as I just picked up mine yesterday! My copy also doesn't look new! Here is a list of defects:

1) The cover has one of its side corners slightly peeled. Also there are clear indentations about 3 inches from each side in the glossy parts.

2) The board shows wear(you can see white) at the corners.

3)The edges of the monster boards are not clean: they looked pinched at places and showing some white on the top edge. "The King" board is smushed slighly around the victory point dial.

4) The bottom of the King cutout is curled out a bit.

All that said I am not too particular with games and none of the issues bother me enough to do anything about it. But it definately did not look like new when I took off that shrinkwrap. Combining this with some production issues I read about Biblios I think Iello is just a company that you have to order from knowing there may be issues. Top notch art though! Just some production issues! Hopefully as they grow as a publisher these little hickups will dissapear.
