King of Tokyo isn't for everyone.
If the following statements apply to you, you may not like King of Tokyo:
"I don't like games with luck, randomness, chaos, chance, etc."
"I only play games where I can guarantee a win through my superior tactics and/or strategy."
"If I'm not guaranteed to defeat an inferior player, then why bother playing a game at all?"

These statements would imply that the person in question doesn't like anything more random than Caylus or maybe Puerto Rico... I'm sure there are a lot of people that like Agricola, Dominion, etc that think King of Tokyo is a bad game.
Your implication that people who don't hate randomness will like King of Tokyo is unfounded and a bit obnoxious.
"Rolling dice makes me cringe."
That's a valid filter.
"I play games to demonstrate my intellectual superiority over others."
And that's just a way to imply people who don't like the game are pompous asses... Are you going to say that you "play for fun" instead of "playing to win" while we're listing off cliches here?
