King of Tokyo is certainly more interactive than Yahtzee. To suggest otherwise is to miss all the subtle strategies in the game. But that is no big deal as we could argue about that all day and nobody would change their mind.I won't deny that the theme is a big plus for me, but to say that theme is not an important factor in most games is nonsense. I know folks who love European games because they look and feel like European games. Or dice games because they love dice. And I will freely admit that any good game with a Kaiju theme gets a few bonus points.
But to suggest that the game is terrible and nobody has as much sense as you for liking it is a bit obnoxious. I don't particularly care for Puerto Rico or Ticket to Ride. I can't stand Munchkin. But they are popular and well-liked by many and I wouldn't just dismiss these opinions so casually.
Disliking the game is fine. Writing a negative review is great too. But dismissing other people's opinions because they don't disagree with you, that's just childish.
