Good question - this has kept me from introducing the game. I'm still unclear though, about the use of the claws for that first player entering Tokyo. It seems to me that if you have to go to Tokyo because you rolls a claw(s), they should count as hits against the other players. What does the King of Tokyo braintrust think of this issue?

They've already told you, and told you correctly: all that matters is whether you have a claw when you have finished all your die rolls. If you re-roll a die, what it showed before re-rolling never has any impact on the game.

Slow down old friend Sphere, that wasn't my question. You're a little trigger happy today. :)

Say I am the first player to enter Tokyo. It doesn't seem right to me that the claw(s) used to put me there would be wasted, although that seems to be the way people play. I wondered what other people thought of that rule. Do others think the claw(s) should be wasted?
